How to Set Up Your myMSHealtheRecords Account

Step 1: Connecting to Your Medical Records If you want to connect to records from participating providers, you must call 877.520.5448. This is a necessary step to link your account to provider data. During the setup, you will complete the following:

  1. Verify Your Identity: Enter your zip code and phone number. These details help in creating and maintaining your account.
  2. Identity Verification Process: You’ll need to answer a series of health-related questions verified against recent healthcare encounters from your records. This ensures that only you can access your health information.
  3. Payment: The $0.99 processing fee is a one-time charge, paid using a credit card in your name. This step confirms your identity and completes the setup for accessing your records.
  4. Provide Additional Information: Enter your zip code and phone number. These details help in creating and maintaining your account.
  5. Finalizing Account Setup: After completing the previous steps, the helpdesk will provide you with a Portal ID, and you will receive an email containing a temporary password. Use this password to log in for the first time, where you will be prompted to create a new, secure password. Once updated, you’ll have full access to your health records.

If you do not have participating providers but wish to store your own health information manually, you can set up a portal account today by entering your information. There is no fee for this option, but it will only serve to store the health data you add yourself.
